Colonies rejected the Acts!
1774 delegates from all colonies except Georgia met in Philadelphia and made the first continental Congress. VA delegates included Patrick Henry who become famous for a famous quote.
" Give me Liberty or give me Death"
The delegates anounced a boycott on all British products. The distinct between VA, Pennsylvania, New York and New England are no more Virginian but American.

British East India Company started to fail. So they put heir tea cheaper but still the colonist didnt want to pay because they knew they were going to pay taxes also.

Colonial Protest Intesify.
American politician and the second President of USA .Adams came to prominence in the stages of the American Revolution. As a delegate from Masschussets to the continental congress.
He persuaded the Congress to adopt theUSA Declaration of Independence1776.
Tax Resistance:
Intelectual Protest.
Economic Boycotts.
Violent Intimidation.
All These was for make the british back down!!
