Coercive Acts ( by force)
The Intolerable Acts were the series of five laws passed by the British Parliament in 1774 relating to Britains colonies in North America. The acts triggered outrage and resistance in the 13 colonies that later became the USA.
They Closed the Boston Port.
Also they increased the power of the governor.
The colonist didnt like it.
The king sent warships and more troops to Boston.
